Peggy Neely was elected in 2001 to represent District 2 on the Phoenix City Council and was re-elected in 2005 and 2009. During her tenure on the Phoenix City Council, Peggy held many leadership positions, including:
Peggy was an economic leader in her district and city wide, working tirelessly to expanding business. A few completed projects include:
One of Peggy's key goals was to recruit outstanding companies to District 2 such as Republic Services, Gore, AT&T, Regional FBI Center, Choice Hotels, APL, and MIM. Also with the objective of expanding our Parks System, Peggy was the sole champion for development of the Nationally Renowned Reach 11 Soccer Center. This is just small list of the projects Peggy Neely accomplished in District Two.
In addition to direct responsibilities with the Phoenix City Council, Peggy also served as chair of the Maricopa Association of Governments (MAG) Regional Council and a member of the Transportation Policy Committee, as well as serving on the National League of Cities (NLC) Transportation, Infrastructure and Services Committee (TIS). Peggy is active in Phoenix and regional affairs as a member of the Greater Phoenix Convention and Visitors Bureau Board of Directors, the Maricopa Community College Foundation subcommittee for fundraising, a member of the Paradise Valley Community College President's Roundtable, and as a member of North Phoenix Neighborhood Action Alliance.
Peggy is also President and Designated Broker of Neely Real Estate Strategies. She has been Real Estate Broker since 1990 with experience in both Residential and Commercial Real Estate. She currently Chairs the Commercial Services Committee for the Scottsdale Area Association of Realtors.

- Lead the JW Marriott, and Westin Kierland Hotel projects to expand conference space
